Can't exactly how I got to this page, but I am here and I try to utilize what comes my way. I have a deformed (disabled) foot. Tis getting worse. Some days I can barely walk. I finally found my dream career, driving public transportation. Who knew? Been there almost 8 years, (had ssi so didn't really need to work, but it is good for my mind , body and soul. Made alot of friends along the way. My car failed me, it was hard to get to and from work without my own car. I need my own transportation to survive. I don't have great credit, but I am faithful to my debts. Just want dependable transportation so I can continue to be employed part time out of the home...

I understand what you are saying totally. Every time I see something on a website that says "Free" I start looking where the scam is. In the begining I would get excited about the "Free" stuff, but then when you started filling out the form and they lead you to another page (after they already got your e-mail) then they ask you for your credit card number. Sure is funny how all this stuff is free and you have to give them your credit card number. Anyway, I'm new to aidpage and was just "surfing around for a web designer when I caught you blog. As I browse around on the Internet or the World wide web, I have to ask myself , "What has happened to Advertising?" Most of it reminds me of the snakeoil salesman, I'm telling a little of my age now, no, I'm not that old. I mean what I have heard about them, not first hand and because some of the readers probably haven't heard that phrase.

Usually they are standing in front of a mansion, then in front of fancy cars and boats, then they show you a picture of a beach front, villa, or mountain range. All theirs, they claim but is it , how do You know? For the most part, I could walk in front of those things, have someone take a picture and claim they are mine. Unless you really knew me personally, you'd never know.

The advertisers then have a page where they get their Witnesses or Testimonials, who probably doesn't even know that their face is being used or they are on a site that is for that purpose, but the faces are used  and the products they have no knowledge of.

BINGO! An instant millionare. Didn't know it was that easy did ya? Step right up.

What is the product, what are the advertisements trying to get you to buy? Is it real or fictitious? A Dream or Reality? Sad to say most are mere wisp of hope, dream clouds that you can float on until your money runs out. Then they don't know you or what you are talking about. While your dreams, hope, money are crumbled and in the trash, they finally make enough to go on that criuse, buy that car, or that house that YOU have always dream about.

The Department of Commerce needs to get a backbone and start enforcing the truth in advertising laws that we have. Fine those buggers and get advertising  back to the honest profession it use to be, uh, at least as honest as it use to be.

My name is Celina Hernandez and im 21 years  old. I think of myself as a hard working individual. I've been working since i was 16 at a vetenary hospital as a vet assistant until just recently. Due to some difficulty with stress and dealing with the pain of feeling my teeth literaly disinagrating in my mouth. Although i had a good paying job that provided me with basic health care, getting by was a struggle. However, they did not offer any dental care which i just happen to be in desperate need of. Growing up i had alot of stomach problems that were never taken care of  because of disbelief. In return i always had acid reflex and would through up almost every day. Being as young as i was i didnt realize that all that acid was not very good for my teeth and that it was basically taking all the enamel away. I never would of thought my teeth would of gotten this bad in just a year span. On top of my teeth being so brittle, my wisdom teeth are growing in and it just really puts the icing on the cake. I can no longer tolerate the pain. There is absolutely no room for  them to grow in. My lower jaw feels as if it is being torn from my upper jaw. As weird as that might sound its the only way that i can describe it so it is known how severe it truely is. It depresses me that i have the teeth of an elderly person and i am no where near in age. It scares me because i feel that with each day that goes by the worse they get and the less my chances are in saving them. Hi, I have exhausted all my options, I have tried every bank, online options, Prosper, Google, Yahoo and I can not get anyone to give me a loan.  I know I am stretching my options by asking a complete stranger to trust me ..  Last December, I was a happy girl attending Empire Beauty School.  It was my dream and even though how I got to achieve that dream was through misfortune (a car accident settlement), it still made me happy to know that I didn't have to go to a four year school and pay 20K plus to major in a vague subject. Unfortunately, I had to give up my dreams of becoming a stylist due to the financial burden (the school wanted $500.00 a month!).

Then, the credit card offers came into play. Having never been taught budgeting or money management and being unemployed, I was prey for the creditors. I applied with every offer I got and was approved for 7 cards. Not having guidence, I racked up over $3,000.00 in debt! I know now that the purpose of having credit is for the rewards and simplicity of not carrying cash. I also know now what a FICO Score is and how to screw one up in no time at all. Now I believe that credit cards are only good when you have the money amount you're spending.

Next in line is hospital bills! I have no medical insurance and no way to get some. My charity care just ran out and I owe the local hospital $1,000.00!

I am in collections all over the place. I'm trying extremely hard to get a job, but I haven't had any luck thus far.I already went to 6 interviews and I can't even afford to look the part. I have no license or car, no friends, no local family, and I'm giving up on life.  I feel like I'm slowly sinking into homelessness. My depression grows each day and I often wish I were dead. It sounds dumb, but money really does make the world go round! I can't pay my rent and utilities and I'm not eligible for a loan. My husband needs work. He does all types of maintance work, carpentary, plumbing, painting and household repairs. He also knows landscaping and car do minor car repairs. If you could employ him, please contact us. We are a strong family, all of the children are willing to help with yard cleanups and anything else that is needed. I need 2000 dollars before the 20th of April to pay off a bill or they come in and start taking my familys things to pay off the debt. With all the opportunities in this country, there are still several people looked over when getting loans or financial help.  I have often wondered what it would be like to finally get that loan for a business.  I want to open up a burger joint that was here 20 years ago.  Although, it won't be the same one,  we will be able to get the building and sell some of the same products.  Dedication and hard work will have to rise above everything else.
